Project 52 || March-June || Vancouver Family Photographer

It is now almost the end of June and my Project 52 is going on strong! I am loving taking photos every week of my girl. It has been a while so I thought I would do a blog post of some of my Project 52 photos since March. I am looking forward to taking more photos outside now that it is summer! I do post more regularly on Instagram, you can follow me here to keep up to date and see what we get up to this summer!

Abbotsford Tulip Festival || Abbotsford Family Photographer

Last month we went to the Abbotsford Tulip Festival for Mother’s Day. I had been seeing lots of photos and saw some last year as well but never got a chance to go. So this year we were going to Abbotsford anyways so I told my husband that for Mother’s Day I wanted to go. We went about a week to late because there were not as many tulips as I had hoped for. It was still nice and we definitely got the idea, but I learned that next year we will have to go earlier to see them in full bloom with all the beautiful colours! I did get some great photos of my family and my daughter so I was still happy!

10 on 10 – A Day at Home and at the Park || June 2018 || Vancouver Family Photographer

I am part of a group of photographers who are doing a 10 on 10 blog circle. We each do a blog post on the 10th of the month and link to the next person. Find the link to the next photographer at the bottom of this post.

Two weeks ago I spent the weekend with my daughter and babysitting my niece and nephew. I decided that I was going to photograph our day. We started the morning off inside and the girls were playing mommy and baby. Then we played a memory game. I made them lunch and according to Ayden I am the best cook ever! (kids sure have a way of making you feel good even when all I did was make eggs, toast and hashbrowns, lol). After lunch we walked to the park and I sure am glad I took my camera because I captured some great moments!

Be sure to continue the blog circle and check out Lisa Howeler’s Blog Post HERE!

Ashauna’s 8th Birthday || Abbotsford Birthday Photographer

My niece Ashauna turned 8 last month and she celebrated with a high tea themed birthday party. There was tons of food and lots of treats. I think the adults were more into the food than the kids (which was delicious and I definitely enjoyed it). But the kids were busy having fun playing. They played musical chairs (they improvised and used pillows instead). My nephew Ayden even put on a little magic show, it was very entertaining! And then of course they got to each some cake! The beautiful cake was made by Just Cakes.
