10 on 10 || January 2018 || Vancouver BC Documentary Photographer

This is my first post of 2018, so let me start off by saying Happy New Year! I have a few goals that I will be working on this year and am excited to share this with you. This blog post is one of them. I recently joined a group of photographers who will be doing a blog circle, we will each do one blog post of 10 pictures on the 10th of every month (hence the title of the blog post 10 on 10). In the last few months I have really become interested in documentary photography and another of my goals for this year is to practice this at home with my own family and document our life. I have an almost 3 year old and want to really capture her childhood and all the daily life moments. I will also be doing a Project 52 where I will be posting one photo every week (this I will be doing on Instagram but you will also likely see some of those photos in my 10 on 10 blog posts as well).

For my first 10 on 10 post I decided to do it on the Holidays. This post includes the making of a gingerbread house, opening christmas gifts as well as New Years Eve.

Be sure to continue on with the blog circle and check out Lisa R. Howeler’s blog post HERE!
