Mandy & Jag Maternity || Surrey, BC || Maternity Photographer

Mandy and Jag are expecting their first baby in May. I met them at Tynehead Park in Surrey last week for their maternity session. In the midst of all these rainy days it turned out to be a beautiful sunny day. It was my first time doing a session at this location and I absolutely loved it! I think it fit perfectly with the woodsy feel that Mandy wanted. Check out these gorgeous photos from their session!

Second Shooting || 2013 || Second Shooter Wedding Photographer

Last year I had the privilege of second shooting for a few different photographers. I never got around to posting the photos until now. So I decided to do one blogpost of 3 of the weddings I second shot at last year. I really do enjoy second shooting because it gives me the opportunity to not only work with various photographers, but to see their styles and also see all different kinds of wedding. Thanks to these lovely ladies who gave me the opportunity to work with them. I had a blast at each wedding!

The first wedding took place at Swan-e-set and I second shot for Hayley Rae Photography.

This next one was a beautiful backyard wedding where I second shot for Melody Morgan Photography.

And the last wedding took place at a church in Chilliwack and the reception was in a barn. This wedding I got to second shot for Cecilia Flaming Photography.

Giselle 6 months || Vancouver, BC || Children Photographer

I am catching up on some blog posts. This session with Giselle at 6 months was done back in December and she is just so adorable that I had to share these photos! This was also my first 6 month session and I loved it! She had a few wardrobe changes and one of them includes a santa outfit! Check out these photos from her session.

Calgary || Personal

Last week I went to Calgary for a few days to visit my friend Sapna. When I had booked my flight a few weeks earlier it was about -40! I sure was glad it had warmed up a LOT by the time I got there. When I was flying in it was so cool to see all the lakes and even the river were frozen! While I was visiting we went to Banff where we went ice walking at Johnston Canyon. Once we began we were very happy that we rented ice cleats because it was very icy on the mountain. Once we got to the falls, it really was the coolest thing to see everything completely frozen! Lots of photos from our hike below. The next day we went to Lake Louise. I have always seen photos of Lake Louise and was super excited to go see it and of course take photos. When we got there there was no lake (well there was underneath all the ice and snow). It was probably the most snow I had ever seen in my life. I had an amazing trip and I will definitely have to go to back to Lake Louise in the summer time when I will actually be able to see the lake.
